Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-14 · Effective: 2026-05-14
Attagram is a product of Half Corporation, LLC (“Half Corporation,” “we,” “us”), which acts as the data controller for information collected through the Service. We take privacy seriously, especially when it comes to families. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who the account is for
Attagram accounts are for parents and legal guardians age 18 or older. Children do not have their own accounts. A parent may create child profiles within their household account; these profiles let the parent label and target notes but are controlled entirely by the parent.
What we collect from parents
- Name and email address when you pre-order, subscribe, or create an account.
- Shipping address when you place an order.
- Payment information, processed by our payment provider (we do not store card numbers).
- Device and connection information from your printer (serial number, firmware version, Wi-Fi signal quality) to operate the Service.
- Basic app usage information to diagnose bugs.
Information about children
If a parent creates a child profile, we may collect and store:
- The child’s first name and a color chosen by the parent.
- Notes, messages, drawings, and completion status that the parent sends to that child’s profile.
We do not collect a child’s last name, email, phone number, precise location, photograph, or any other contact information. We do not use child data for advertising. We do not use child data to train machine-learning models. We do not sell or rent child data. Ever.
Parental consent (COPPA)
When a parent creates a child profile, the parent is providing verifiable parental consent on the child’s behalf under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) for the limited collection described above. A parent may withdraw consent at any time by deleting the child profile or contacting hello@attagram.com. Withdrawal deletes the profile and associated data.
Parental rights
Parents may, at any time:
- Review the information associated with their account and their children’s profiles within the app.
- Delete any note, child profile, or the entire account.
- Request a copy of stored data by emailing hello@attagram.com. We respond within 30 days.
- Refuse further collection by deleting the profile or account.
How we use information
- To deliver notes from your phone to your printer.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To send transactional messages about your order, account, or service status.
- With your permission, to send occasional product updates by email (unsubscribe any time).
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.
Service providers
We share the minimum information necessary with vendors who help us operate the Service, bound by confidentiality and data-processing agreements:
- Resend — transactional email delivery to parents.
- Cloud hosting and database providers — to store and serve Service data.
- Payment processors — to collect payment when you place an order.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Retention
We keep notes and child-profile data for as long as your account is active. You can delete items individually at any time. If you delete your account, we delete associated personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it (e.g., tax records, fraud prevention).
Security
We use encryption in transit, encryption at rest, access controls, and routine security review to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise your rights, email hello@attagram.com.
Geographic scope
The Service is currently offered in the United States only. If you access it from elsewhere, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes affecting children’s data, obtain parental consent as required by law.
